Sculptural animalier lamp originally conceived as a candlestick, richly modeled with wildlife and hunting motifs, including animal paws, branches, oak leaves, acorns, and birds.
The design reflects the French Naturalist tradition and Cain’s mastery of animal sculpture.
Converted to an electric lamp and fitted with a white frosted flame-shaped glass shade, providing soft, atmospheric light.
The bronze retains a deep, nuanced patina that enhances the detailed modeling.
