A lovely set of six original hand‑painted lithographs from the celebrated 1847 series by French artist Jean Ignace Isidore Gérard, better known as J.J. Grandville. This historic collection features floral figures elegantly personified as Victorian‑era ladies, each capturing the distinctive character of her flower.

This set is a rare, surviving group—each plate a beautifully anthropomorphic flower narrative that blends botanical art, romantic allegory, and Grandville’s signature wit. Created in 1846 and published in 1847, these prints are more than art; they are timeless stories of leaves, petals, and personalities entwined.
