Each hand painted panel uses the kyung bur technique of raised gesso outlines and accents giving texture and depth to the painted motifs. A coiled dragon holding flaming jewels is repeated on each of the six panels. The cabinet is made of pine with hand chiseled back panels that have been finished with a satin lacquer, including the top, sides and inside. A stunning, colorful cabinet tight and sturdy, looking for a new home.
