completely sanded, it now reveals a very contemporary golden-blond hue, modernizing its classic lines without altering its character.

a piece that is both functional and decorative, designed to display as much as to structure a space.

materials: raw cherry wood.

features: the bookcase opens with two doors, glazed in the upper section and closed in the lower. The projecting cornice is highlighted by a dentil frieze, emblematic of the louis xvi style, while the fluted pilasters structure the front and accentuate its vertical elegance. The solid, slightly projecting base ensures a stable and elegant visual foundation. Inside, it offers three shelves, the height of which can be adjusted using a rack and pinion system.

restoration: this antique bookcase underwent repairs and reinforcements before being sanded and cleaned. As the door no longer had a lock, a magnet was installed to ensure it closes securely.
