The reflection produced by the glass is secondary to the artistry of each hand-carved decoration cascading from the pediment on top to surround the beveled glass on every plane. In the crown are lovely scrolled elements which coordinate with the foliate designs etched into the perimeter. The mirror plates are original, exhibiting varying degrees of foxing and a thin haze of oxidation.
