The subject is a slender young woman with tousled black hair in a strapless blue dress, her strong features unflinching and concentrated toward the right of the scene. Behind her is a curious assortment of objects: a carousel horse, a blue vase with flowers, a lidded jar and two framed pieces of art above the bed that beg for a narrative to be strung together in order to tell her story. Recently framed in natural oak molding that complements the palette. Signed by the artist to the lower right. Please view the detailed images to see more of this thought-provoking work. See less
