PAN AM – Rare 1940s-50s Tray setup Stainless & Silverplate– Six (6) pieces of Classic or Midcentury pieces from 1946 through 1957; one price!

Six (6) Stainless Knives – 6 ¾”
• The flatware handles are marked with 3-sets of 3 stripes
• The stripes match the Pan Am Pilot/First Officer unform sleaves or epaulets
• The stripes are found on all sides of the knives;

When not in the lounge, berth or at the buffet table First Class customers were served their meals via “tray set-ups” (meaning everything was presented on one tray – and nothing was served from a cart).
• Pieces offered are typical of what would have been found on a tray set-up on a B377 Stratocruiser;
• This flatware is slightly smaller than standard size;
• Pieces are a mix of stainless steel and silverplate.

The silver plate pieces were produced for Pan Am by the International Silver Company. The International Silver Company, also known as ISC, was formed in Meriden, Connecticut and produced silver from 1898 to 1983. See less
