These framed tapestries depict a basket of flowers. Both are framed alike but the scenes are flowers, similiar but not the same. These were done in the later 19th century and came from a gallery in the south of France.. I have just this week had the frame's glass cleaned inside and out. I wanted tp be sure they were free of dirt and had a sealed backing as they were old and in need of some TLC. One had to have its glass replaced because it was cracked. The other has the original glass. Both frames are alike. They are gold with beading and beautiful with only minor wear. These would be a stellar piece of art for anyone who loves the old framed textiles. See less
