Beautiful handmade heritage box by David Whitaker for “Under the Baobab,” dated 2005. Crafted with contrasting figured maple and darker walnut-toned wood with a burned baobab tree detail on the lid.
Features a removable lined tray and spacious lower compartment, making it great for keepsakes, jewelry, watches, letters, photos, or mementos. Really warm handcrafted feel with beautiful wood grain throughout and a clean simple design that works well in both traditional and modern interiors.
Signed and dated on underside.
Measures 14” wide, 12” deep, and 7” high.
