This is a unique and striking late 19th century buffet is in exceptional condition with a beveled mirror, four beautifully dovetailed drawers (2 small on top, and 2 longer on bottom) and locking beveled glass display.
This piece is a great example of the craftsmanship expected of this era throughout Europe around the turn of the twentieth century. It features intricate hand carving and sits on two front French Provincial style wooden legs with a carved cabriole design.

There is a bit of wavy texture to the top of the buffet, but that's only noticeable when you run your hand over it It isn't visibly noticeable. There are scratches and some stains inside the cabinets, but they aren't noticeable when the doors are closed. This piece has been used through the years but incredibly well kept. The door locking mechanisms don't appear to work, likely frozen with time. They are very likely reparable, by the new owner. There is a key that comes with this piece. Locks don't appear to be working, but all are accounted for, and new owner can likely have them repaired. The key comes with it. less
