Small vintage studio pottery vase with a really nice organic shape and earthy drip glaze finish. Done in warm brown, tan, and black tones with layered glaze drips and wheel-thrown banding throughout. Has that handmade wabi-sabi feel that works well mixed into both modern and rustic spaces.
The surface has a great texture and depth to it, especially where the darker glaze pools and runs over the clay body. Looks good on a shelf, stacked with other pottery, or holding a few simple stems.
Illegible impressed pottery mark on underside. Vintage condition with natural variations and imperfections from the firing process that add to the character.
