This impressive antique Moroccan door features a smaller arched wicket door incorporated within the larger doorway, allowing passage without opening the complete structure.

Constructed from substantial hand-worked wood planks, the surface is richly ornamented with rows of hand-forged iron studs arranged in geometric Moorish patterns. The aged reddish-brown wood, oxidized ironwork, irregular construction and deeply weathered patina give this authentic Marrakech riad door exceptional architectural character.

Measuring an imposing 104 inches high, 64 inches wide and 3 inches deep (264.16 × 162.56 × 7.62 cm), this large Moorish architectural element would make a dramatic interior doorway, decorative wall installation or protected covered-exterior feature. Because of its considerable size, weight and age, professional assessment and installation are recommended.

The door remains in distressed antique condition, with extensive age-related wear, cracks, separations, holes, oxidation, surface erosion, old repairs and losses throughout.
