A pair of vintage Art Deco mixed media ashtray figurines by Frankart and German American sculptor Arthur von Frankenberg (1889-1950). A duet of figural works, one in green enameled metal, the other metal with patinated bronze finish, produced circa 1920s.
Depicting a duo of nude female figures with arms outstretched and legs posed in a saucy kick, with one figurine supporting a circular fitted art pottery ashtray bowl, hand decorated in complimentary turquoise enamel paint. Both surmounting circular bases with scalloped design.
The artist's subject was a noted English model of the period named Leone Osborne. Green enamel figure stamped to base FRANKART T-301 (C) 1922. Bronze metal figure stamped to base (C) 1922.
