Solid oak construction on square-section tapered legs. Five graduated drawers with dovetail joints to left pedestal, each fitted with brass cup handles. Drop-leaf extension to right side supported by folding metal brackets. Open kneehole configuration beneath drop leaf. Upper drawers retain internal dividers.
brass handles stamped "gr". Underside stamped "gr vi" with crown, dating the piece to the reign of george vi (1936-1952).
