Certificate of origin
First published in signed editions of 50 between 1958 and 1961. In 1962, in collaboration with the Louise Leiris Gallery, new linocuts were made at 42% of the original size.
This work was produced in a limited edition by the Louise Leiris Paris gallery for a Picasso exhibition at their headquarters.
The work was recently exhibited in a museum.
I wanted to capture the frenetic energy of movement, using broken lines and geometric shapes to break down reality. This Cubist-style lithograph conveys tension and dynamism, expressing the complexity of human emotions through fragmentation. Imagine this work bringing vigor and vibrant intensity to your space, sparking conversations and inspiring deep reflection. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
