Oil paint and cold wax on Encaustiflex, a microfiber material made for recycled soda bottles mounted on cradled panel. Ready to hang.
This 12 x 12 inch study is a compact and resolved example of my Running in Circles series, where curved and rectilinear forms interlock in a warm, earthy palette. Rich browns, ochres, and muted olive/beige tones give the surface depth and atmosphere, while the intimate scale makes the composition feel both immediate and collectible. Though small in size, the painting has a strong structural presence and carries the same balance, tension, and movement as the larger works.
