Designed by … Read more A very rare and strikingly attractive, excellent quality designer chesterfield buttoned leather corner armchair in lovely vintage condition. Designed by paolo moschino and produced for nicky haslam in the 1990s, this attractive and very comfortable salon armchair will add excellent designer quality and styling, and a distinguished aesthetic of elegant timeless grandeur to any interior.

impressively sized and reassuringly heavy, this super armchair is a fabulous mix of traditional english country house splendour and modern designer luxury. It features a very plump and comfortable, generously sized square seat and an attractive two-sided, gracefully-arching padded back. This has a charming piped and squared top, which adjoins the matching edging to the arms and seat, thereby rejuvenating the classical chesterfield design with a bold and stylish, modern-designer cubic profile.

it is set on charming turned legs and upholstered in excellent quality plush black heritage hide leather, pleated and buttoned in the chesterfield fashion, adding an aged distinction to this eye-catching and sophisticated armchair.

this armchair is in good vintage condition. Solid, sturdy, structurally sound and expertly crafted, it is extremely comfortable and has only minor to-be-expected marks and wear to show its age, including minor marks to the leather and scuffs to the rear and marks and touch ups to the legs. Overall it’s an extremely rare and eye-catching chair in lovely vintage condition and if well looked after it should be just as distinguished for generations to come – please see the photos.
