Consistent with rural pottery traditions from the southern France and northern Italy region. The terracotta body features incised leaf and petal motifs on the lower body, cream slip-trailed wavy banding at the shoulder and a green glaze on the upper body and neck. Loop handle and ringed neck. Unglazed base typical of village pottery of this period. Late 19th century. See less
