Pair of louis xv style bedside tables in solid dark brown stained oak, each with a single drawer on the front.
the drawer is adorned with relief carvings of rocaille scrolls and foliage, and features a patinated brass handle. The apron has a shell motif carved in its center, characteristic of the louis xv style. The table rests on four slender cabriole legs ending in carved scrolls. The top has a molded, scalloped edge typical of the period. Slight signs of wear and small nail holes are visible on the surface, attesting to the age of the pieces. Handcrafted in the french regional tradition, dating from the 1950s. Dimensions: h. 70 cm – w. 45 cm. Sold as a pair.
