A large 19th-century candy jar from France.
The jar is hand-blown and has an extra ring at the bottom.
You will also occasionally find an air bubble in the glass.
This is a beautiful, stately jar and very decorative for holding various items.
There is a very slight weathering in the glass if you look very closely.
It is in good condition but naturally shows signs of use commensurate with its age.
It is great for decorating with colorful glass spheres or shells, for example.
And a super fun decorative collector's item.
Height: 36 cm.
Diam. lid: 18 cm.
