Ornamental vase in green marble and gilded bronze, 19th century, France. The distinctive feature of this model is the ram's heads on the sides, from which hang festoons and garlands with floral motifs, typical of the Louis XVI style. The vase's structure is made of veined marble, often identified as "Vert de Mer," or green sea marble, known for its dark hues and white or light green veins. These types of vases were used purely for decorative purposes.
