osvaldo borsani (1911–1985) was one of the leading figures of italian modern design. Trained at the politecnico di milano and deeply connected to the milanese avant-garde, he combined craftsmanship with industrial innovation.

in 1953, he co-founded tecno with his brother fulgenzio, aiming to industrialize high-end design without compromising quality.
