An early northern European impressionist painting of a fjord in Lapland. The work is oil/canvas and is presented in a simple gilt type cove frame (frame may not be contemporary with the painting). The work is signed (see Wilhem Engstrom). It is an attractive and interesting work touching on the Saami peoples (or Lapps) bygone way of life.
