A sculptural woven rattan lounge chair by McGuire, circa 1970s. This piece features a dramatic high-back silhouette with a beautifully executed geometric weave that creates subtle diamond patterning throughout the backrest. There are several breaks to the rattan strands along the outer edge/lip (approximately 10 areas), which are visible upon close inspection. The remainder of the weave is largely intact, and the chair is structurally sound and sturdy. The seat cushion is newly made in our workroom, featuring new foam and fresh upholstery.
