This is a rare Knoll rosewood and marble credenza, model 2544, first designed by Florence Knoll in 1961 as part of her new approach to commercial interior design.
This is an early example of the cabinet in a 10-drawer configuration. The piece is made of rosewood and features a marble top. The credenza has a lower height, standing at 25 inches tall, making it ideal for use as a TV cabinet or a dining room cabinet.
Ships from Philadelphia. Very heavy.
Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Very good vintage condition. No noteworthy blemishes. Heavy marble detaches from the cabinet. It's very stable and does not move.
