A finely crafted early Art Deco cabinet by Sligh Furniture Company, circa 1920s.
This piece reflects a transitional moment in design, combining traditional decorative elements with emerging geometric forms. The cabinet body is done in burl walnut, while the front features a mix of satinwood and mahogany. The doors are especially striking, with elm burl arranged in a geometric diamond pattern and accented by a detailed floral inlay at the center.
The natural variation in the wood grain creates depth and movement across the surface, giving the piece a warm and visually rich presence.
Inside, the cabinet opens to a fitted interior with multiple pull-out trays, designed for organized storage. The lower section includes drawers for additional storage, making it both functional and versatile.
