Oil painting on okoume board (similar to mahogany) of plums stacked in a decorative bowl with peaches and cherries in the foreground. Painted in the Dutch style by Satori Gregorakis. Signed in the lower left corner. Framed.
Satori Gregorakis (b. Long Island, N.Y., 1943-) I paint scenes in the tradition of old masters because I like being surrounded by classical paintings. At the heart of my process is the careful, deliberate preparation of the painting surface.
