Vintage 1986 wooden jewelry / keepsake box featuring a ceramic tile top with artwork of a majestic bald eagle in flight against a backdrop of mist and snow-covered mountains. The artwork on the lid is by renowned wildlife artist Ted Blaylock. His signature and "86" is visible in the bottom left corner. The box is crafted from solid oak and features a red felt-lined interior. Measures approximately 4 7/8 inches wide, 6 5/8 inches long and 2 1/4 inches tall. Like-new, clean condition with no damage. From a smoke-free home.
Artist Info: Ted Blaylock (1940 - 2022) is known for his detailed and realistic depictions of American wildlife and landscapes. His art has been selected for many honors, including the top 100 Arts for the National Parks program, the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum Birds in Art and The National Wildlite Federation.
