We love folk art and particularly tramp art. Made mostly by anonymous artists and craftsmen from discarded materials, the joy and creativity they convey in a functional object has a delightful character, and the elaborate, decorative surfaces and patterns are the perfect counterpoint to the clean-lined modern design we appreciate so much.
This charming example is an intricately carved box with a wonderful decoration of fishes, the name "Olga" on the top, and "Souvenir" on the front. It's the perfect space to store cherished keepsakes. It's a delightful piece with wonderful presence.
