This Really is a Great Looking & Hard 2 Find Model Antique American Cast Iron Doorstop. Circa Approx 1920s. It is Rendered in a Figurative Free Standing - Happy Gnome Design with Bold - High Relief Raised Features. It is Also HEAVY Weighing Over 6 Pounds. It has No Maker or Other Marks that I Can Find. I am Sure that it is Not a Hubley Manufacturing Model but Possibly National Foundry or Albany Foundry. It is in Very Good All Original Condition and it Displays Nicely. It Still Retains its All Original Paint Brush Hand Oil Painted Features. NOTE That the Beard is Done in Unusual "Radiator" Paint. This was the First Metallic Silver Paint That was Ever Produced in the Early 20th Century - Was Used to Paint the Old Cast Iron Floor Standing Home Steam Heating Units. It has No Damage or Repairs to the Casting..
