The seat is woven in a tight basketweave pattern using thick twisted seagrass rope, with the apron wrapped in dense vertical coils that terminate at four chunky square-capped hardwood posts — a construction detail as structural as it is sculptural.

The dark-stained hardwood frame features tapered square legs with distinctive block post tops that serve as the rope's anchor points, a hallmark of the Audoux-Minet workshop vocabulary. The overall form is compact and purposeful — equally at home as a footrest, a plant stand, or a bedside perch.
