It’s Vintage Italian Genuine Alabaster. This decorative box is hand carved from translucent alabaster stone featuring a hand painted floral motif possibly cherry blossoms, a bird and three rhinestones. These boxes are traditionally used as jewelry boxes to hold your rings at night, pull boxes, or small keepsakes for vanities. This box belonged to my Aunt who resided in Miami after she retired from New York. See less
