Striking studio art glass charger by American glass artist Paul Hathcoat.
The plate features a woven composition of fused dichroic glass strips creating luminous color shifts of deep blue, violet, teal and gold as the light moves across the surface. The layered construction gives the piece depth and a beautiful metallic shimmer.
The charger measures approximately 12 inches in diameter and about 1/2 inch tall.
Signed on the underside.
A wonderful example of late 20th century American studio glass and an eye-catching decorative display piece.
