A 1980s abstract acrylic painting on paper by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This piece features an abstracted landscape scene with a pink sunset, mountains in the distance, and a field of flowers. Unframed, this piece is signed to the lower right.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
