We are offering this very large carved giltwood Architectural fragment. This fragment appears to be Chinese or possibly Vietnamese. The carving features a bird on a pomegranate branch with several fruits and a second bird that has been detatched. The carving appears to be 18th or 19th century. The construction involves layered boards instead of a singular piece.
Condition: Heavy wear with damages and losses. One bird is detached. Wear to the gilding.
