The piece is large enough to be used as a centerpiece, but could fit nicely within a collection, displayed on a console or in shelving or within an étagère. The canary yellow body and black stripes are rendered in a mix of playfulness and naïveté. It appears that great care was taken with the depth of the teeth and serpentine form of the tail.

The underside shows a slight hollowing; piece remains hefty and weighty for its size. There is a stylized initial to the underside that appears to be an artist signature. See less
