This is a gorgeous shell encrusted box with a hinged lid. The surface is densely decorated with real shells and the interior is lined in a velvet like material.
The sides are lined with auger/turritella shells arranged in a uniform, upright row. The lid is a clustered crown featuring scallop shells, murex/spiny shells, turbo shells, cone shells, and spotted or mottled gastropods.
