It's rare to find a very early 1900s EAPG Bohemian style pitcher and glasses set in such fine condition, AND still together! These are true survivors. This set was produced by Indiana Glass Company and is their pattern No. 403. These pieces are made of pressed glass with a ruby stain inverted teardrop pattern and wide gold bands around the tops. Pitcher has an applied twisted handle and stands about 9 3/4" tall. Base measures about 5" in diameter. The glasses stand about 4 1/2" tall with a top diameter of about 3".
Even though this set is around 125 years old, there are no chips, cracks, evidence of unusual wear, or dishwasher haze on any of these pieces! There is one flaw on one of the tumblers that at first looks like a crack, but it is an error that happened during manufacturing while the glass was still hot - you can tell by the way the gold settled into it. (See close up photo). Very few small marks in the ruby stain. There is some wear to the fat gold bands around the tops of these pieces - I've posted close-up photos of the ones that show the most wear to the gold. An absolutely stunning set of EAPG turn-of-the-century glassware!
If you've been looking for a Bohemian style pitcher and glasses set for your table or bar, you've just found it. Will be wrapped with care and shipped with GOBS of packing material!
