The fittings are made of high-quality brass, arguably the best available at the time. You'll be able to adjust the lampshade's height using a brass wheel. The lampshade's appearance suggests that these lamps once hung in an exclusive country estate that valued a sophisticated look. For their age, the lampshades are in perfect condition. The lamps themselves use an E26/E27 bulb, so you can choose either an energy-saving bulb or a classic incandescent bulb, depending on what works best for you.
