An exceptional example of American Mid-Century Modernism, this Red Wing ewer is from the highly collectible Futura line. Featuring the Viking pattern, the piece is defined by a sophisticated geometric diamond motif in chartreuse and brown against a speckled cream glaze. Its anthropomorphic form, characterized by an exaggeratedly tall neck and a sweeping, integrated handle, represents the pinnacle of 1950s organic-modern design.
