Signed and sealed by the … Read more Excellent vintage Japanese silk scroll painting "Rising Sun and Pine Tree" by Miyata Jisen (1903–1986). Signed and sealed by the artist: Miyata Jisen (宮田慈泉). Watercolor and ink on silk over paper. Beautifully mounted on silk. Bone roller ends. Paper on back. Japan, late Taisho to early Showa Era, circa late 1920s to 1940s. Very Good condition - minor age wear overall, minor creases, foxing and staining, clean. This scroll painting can be trimmed and framed.
