well I would like to say I have owned it for a long time but I can't because this was … Read more well I would like to say I have owned it for a long time but I can't because this was passed down to the family and unfortunately I have been granted responsibility of it. I do know it has been in storage for extreme amount of time and it was put in storage to make sure it stayed in good shape. so my story is I have done endless and endless days and hours of research even though I am very acknowledged on this now I have yet to find one that looks just like it and I cannot say this with certainty but there is a good chance it could be a unicorn. I am still in the process of trying to identify those little metal tags that are tucked way up under the bindings in a very small hole but I have seen many of the Paul frankles and a tremendous amount of other retailers and makers so I will tell you at this point I got to tell you I like this furniture here a lot better and I also love the two-tone coloring. t
To say the least this has been a little bit of a Adventure so I do apologize if I'm not using the proper literature. so I guess it's not much of a story but I will tell you this it started out as a complete Furniture mystery and it was very entertaining and I actually started to really enjoy it but this stuff is not easily researched like most things but I did the best I could. the condition of this furniture is excellent and it is definitely unique from all others and it is extremely heavily Duty with solid seat double support back and the five strand sled base quad loop is definitely unique and it has an original blue metal tag under bindings of The Middle sofa piece and on the other side of the same chair it has a gold or brass metal tag and I have yet been able to identify because of the small hole in the placement of the metal tags behind the bindings but I am very curious and hope to have this very soon and I have put it on a couple of sites just as pictures not to sell and the comments I got was extremely beautiful never seen one like that before and I stand by this I searched endlessly and so far it is the only one I have seen like it and it also has a row of solid brass screws that goes across the back support on every piece of the furniture. I do believe this was a special order that was done for certain people in that era because it is definitely a piece you can call the executive. to end this conversation I know my grandmother that passed this down had a love of the Finer Things in life I'm sure she paid dearly for the things that she loved and that is why I know this Furniture is very valuable but you do not have to take my word for it with this kind of Exquisite furniture it speaks for itself See less
