Louis XV Style Rattan Thatch Chair

This is a Louis XV-style French rattan chair, characterized by its Rococo-style design and elegant form. The frame is made of solid mahogany, featuring deeply hand-carved details of roses and leaves that are accented with gold gilt to highlight the carvings. The backrest and seat are made of double-caned rattan. The chair's legs are curved in the S-shape known as cabriole legs, a common feature of the Louis XV style.
