Description
Really cool and unusual pair of carved wood stools made from solid butcher block. Designed as horse and rider legs with exaggerated bandy forms and carved boot details—super sculptural and definitely a conversation piece.
The tops have a saddle-like shape, and the slits on the front and back are meant to mimic jean pockets, which is a great little detail. One still has a horsehair tail attached, which adds to the whole look.
They have a lot of age and wear—cracking, heavy distressing, and surface marks throughout—but it works with the style and gives them that raw, one-of-a-kind feel.
Not something you see often at all.
