*******
Diane Grant is a multidisciplinary artist and creator of unique sculpted furniture and light fixtures, a painter, and a ceramicist.
Diane's sculpted furniture and painting work are deeply rooted in continuously incorporating a range of materials.
Those materials are used together to create unique textures and forms.
Through the mix of materials such as metal, plaster, paper, botanical elements,
stones, plastic, and found objects, she creates unique ensembles.
The most recent architectural and historical style of her ceramic work stems from her education in the history of art. She translates her visual knowledge of ancient and modern architecture, urbanism, and archaeology into various sculpted pieces and artistic structures.
Inspired by the ceramic work of Peter Voulkos and Stan Bitters, her interest is fueled by elements of layering and the juxtaposition of primary and complex forms.
Her works are part of prestigious private collections in Paris, London, Rome, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, and Dallas, and have been presented at international art fairs such as PAD London and AD Interiors, Paris.
