This Really is a Great Looking & Very Fine Quality Authentic Antique Solid Brass Doctors & Medical Students Microscope. Signed … Read more This Really is a Great Looking & Very Fine Quality Authentic Antique Solid Brass Doctors & Medical Students Microscope. Signed & Made by the Bausch & Lomb Optical Company in New York. It has a Serial Number 16993 with Documented Records Indicating that it Was Made in Approx 1894. The Upper Viewing Lens and the 2 Lower Lenses Rotating Mounted ( 2 Different Magnification Powers ) are Original and Also Marked Bausch & Lomb. This is a Very High Quality Microscope and Would have Been Very Expensive When it was Originally Sold. It has 2 Focus Adjustments - 1 Finger Slide at the Viewing Lens Cylinder and One Rotting Wheel on the Base Mounted Riser for Fine Tuning the Focus. It still has its Original Double Sided Mirrored Glass Light Reflectors ( One Flat and One Slightly Concave ). I have Every Reason to Believe that it is Still Functional. It is in Excellent All Original Cosmetic Condition - Nice Aged Patina and Color to the Brass - Displays Beautifully!. No Damage - No Repairs.

This would make a Very Interesting and Unique Decorator Item.
