Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. This is a GORGEOUS stool in the manner of Warren Platner composed of a distinctive hourglass or “tulip” shaped base constructed from chrome vertical wire rods, waisted in the center with a flared base and top under a newly upholstered sultry black vinyl or faux leather seat. Simple and STUNNING!!!! While designed as a stool or vanity seat, it could also be used as a side table, plant stand, nightstand, footstool, or if you want a different look, you could remove the seat and replace it with a piece of glass and utilize it as a glass top side or end table. Some say this design style is like an Atlas Specialty Mfg. Co. stool, but we feel there are too many differences in comparison. No matter, as it makes a self-respecting statement of its OWN!! It bears a Mid-Century Modern aesthetic but will blend in beautifully with many décor styles and it exudes a timeless presence you are sure to love for years to come!!
