A breathtaking example of 1930s French Art Deco craftsmanship — an exceptional flame mahogany sideboard with original marble top, accompanied by a dramatic signed Limousin bronze depicting Diana the Huntress with leaping greyhounds pursuing wild boar, mounted on a stepped onyx and marble base.
THE SIDEBOARD
Spectacular bookmatched flame mahogany veneer with dramatic symmetrical figuring across all door panels. Original grey marble top in excellent condition. Three doors with functional center drawer, original chrome hardware, and stepped geometric base with classic Art Deco detailing. Expert French craftsmanship — dovetailed construction throughout.
THE LIMOUSIN BRONZE
A museum-quality Art Deco hunt scene — Diana the Huntress with leaping greyhounds pursuing wild boar, the complete composition signed Limousin in the bronze. Exceptional patina, onyx and marble base intact, original spear removable for transport.
CONDITION
Both pieces in excellent vintage condition consistent with nearly 100 years of age. Veneer rich and deep with beautiful patina. All doors and drawer function smoothly. Bronze structurally sound with no losses.
