A rare and finely executed wmf ikora vase from the 1930s, produced in patinated bronze and showcasing the distinctive surface treatment developed by württembergische metallwarenfabrik during the interwar period. This example features a vivid turquoise patination layered with soft light bronze banding, creating a rich, atmospheric surface with subtle tonal variation. The finish has a slightly textured, almost granular quality typical of ikora metalwork, giving the piece depth and a dynamic interaction with light. The form is compact and elegantly proportioned, with a rounded body and gently flared rim—an understated yet sculptural art deco silhouette. Condition: very good vintage condition with light, even wear consistent with age. The patina is well preserved and attractive.
