A sober, powerful Japanese kimono tansu from the Meiji period, originally made for storing kimono and textiles.
This low chest features two spacious drawers and a calm, balanced design, with beautifully aged dark wood and characterful iron hardware that adds depth and presence to the piece.
Dimensions: height 49,5 cm, width 90,5 cm, depth 41 cm.
The warm, deep tone of the wood and the minimalist front make this piece especially suited to a contemporary interior.
